Ikebana Container

Bamboo container for Ikebana, the art of flower arrangement. Two level natural bamboo log with cutout on top and middle to allow copper inserts. The sides of the cutout portion in the middle is lacquered. Organic and graceful, a perfect vessel for the Seika style flower arrangement. A sought after container for Ikebana enthusiasts. Showa, c.1950.
