Beautiful leaf pattern around the ovoid body with leaf shaped handles and feet. Bronze with an old patina that is hard to beat. The cover has an elegant openwork of leaves with a likeness of a cicada hovering on top. Delicate and superbly executed. Japanese, Meiji period.
