Kamishino
Formal attire for samurai in the Edo period, in the 20th century it has become an accepted attire for samurai roles in theatre and dance. Made of cotton with stenciled small patterns, light blue-gray. The angular shouldered kataginu is lined with a starched paper for stiffening. As customary, a mon on the front and the back of the vest, this one of crossed feathers. The hakama is pleated. Very good condition.
